Remote Monitoring, IoT, Barcode Scanner

Developed a mobile application to enable researchers and technicians equipped with iOS-and Android-based mobile devices to obtain real-time performance data from Life Technologies’ ProFlex PCR System, used to conduct genetic research.

The award-winning custom PCR Essentials app frees scientists and technicians to perform other tasks without being captive to the immediate vicinity of the instrument. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) results from applying heat to isolate small segments of DNA molecules.

• Remote monitoring of scientific equipment state and remaining time via RESTful calls.
