Shared Code, System for Easy Maintenance

I was the key contributor to develop an app for desktop and mobile devices called Cell Imaging. It is a mobile resource for browsing the company's collection of antibodies. The app includes information on 16 categories of products, protocols, and a built-in timer for following along with the protocols. The app also features fluorescent images of cells, but these can only be viewed when the user is online.

The app also includes a collection of protocols that correspond to the various products. For timed steps within the protocols, the app includes a built-in timer that researchers can use as they follow along with the protocol.

Highlights

• Implementation of low-code backend service to enable product owners to easily update all content for all instances (web, iPhone, iPad, Android, and desktop) of the app.
• Shared code across platforms to reduce opportunities for bugs and errors.
